From growing up in a remote part of western China, to studying at the top traditional Chinese medical hospital in Beijing, and finally immigrating to the Midwest, Dr Jay Chang has now made his home in Naples. Meet Dr. Jay Chang
Dr. Jay Chang is a Chinese-American acupuncturist who has been treating patients for over 27 years. He is a nationally certified (NCCAOM) acupuncturist and holds a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology from the Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. Prior to coming to the US, he studied at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in China and practiced at the Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China.
Before he moved to Naples, Dr. Chang was the practicing acupuncturist with the Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and OSF Healthcare Neurological Institute in Peoria, Illinois.
He has been recognized as one of the top acupuncturists in the Peoria region. He is a compassionate and caring practitioner who provides excellent care for his patients.
Dr. Chang has diverse areas of expertise including: migraine headaches, vertigo and dizziness, digestive problems, chronic fatigue, depression and anxiety, urological issues, high blood pressure, infertility, menopause symptoms, sleep disorders, shingles, Bell’s palsy, Parkinson’s disease, side effects of chemotherapy and radiation, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, and peripheral neuropathy.
